Scope
This policy applies to TestGrind services for SAT preparation, including free and premium account areas, dashboards, simulations, support, and billing-related operations.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect personal data when you use www.testgrind.com and related services.

- Account data: email, username, authentication events, account status, optional profile information.
- Learning data: quiz answers, scores, timing, subject performance, trends, readiness indicators, achievements, and challenge data.
- Subscription and billing metadata: plan status, renewal/cancellation status, invoice events, Stripe customer/subscription IDs.
- Technical/security data: IP address, device/browser metadata, logs, anti-abuse signals, and cookie/consent states.
- Support data: support requests and related communications.
3. Why We Process Data (Purposes)
- Provide account access, SAT learning functionality, and product features.
- Calculate scores, progress metrics, and readiness analytics.
- Operate billing, renewals, fraud checks, and subscription lifecycle.
- Protect platform security, detect abuse, and enforce terms.
- Provide support, service notices, and operational communications.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and dispute obligations.
4. Legal Bases (where applicable)

5. Payments and Stripe
Payments are processed by Stripe. TestGrind does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe processes payment details under Stripe's own legal terms and privacy documentation.

- Account data: retained while your account is active and for a limited legal/security period after closure.
- Learning analytics: retained as needed to provide historical performance views and improve service quality.
- Billing records: retained for legally required retention periods.
- Security logs: retained for anti-abuse and incident response windows.
- Consent records: generally retained for 180 days unless renewed earlier.
7. Data Sharing
We share data only as necessary with trusted processors and vendors (e.g., infrastructure, payment, analytics, communications) under contractual safeguards.
We may disclose data to authorities when required by law, court order, or valid legal process.

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If we become aware that personal data was collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
12. Security
We use technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transport, secure credential handling, access controls, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
